March 4, 1862. Captured at Vicksburg, Miss. July 4, 1863, and paroled there July 6, 1863. Absent without leave November 16, 1864. Pen sion records show he left command on sick furlough February 1865. Could not reach command when furlough expired.

Hardy, E. G.- 3d Sergeant October 16, 1862. Discharged on ac- count of weak eyes in 1864.

Wade, Henry J.- 4th Sergeant March 4, 1862. Captured at Vicksburg, Miss. July 4, 1863, and paroled there July 6, 1863. Pension records show he was wounded in right hip bone at Atlanta, Ga. July 22, 1864, and was at home on wounded furlough close of war. (Born in Gwinnett County, Ga. December 26, 1830.)

Pittard, Samuel La Fayette - private March 4, 1862. Pension records show he was transferred to Captain Smith's Company Mississippi Light Artillery June 1862, and was sent home from Columbus, Miss. on sick furlough in 1864. Unable to return. (Died at Cassville, Ga. May 1900.)

Pittard, Thomas N.- private 1862. No record in this company. Enlisted as a private in Captain W. B. Turner's Company Missis sippi Light Artillery (formerly Captain M. Smith's Company) February 22, 1864. Captured near Nashville, Tenn. December 16, 1864. Took oath of allegiance to U. S. Govt. at Camp Chase, O. and released March 16, 1865. (Died in Bartow County, Ga. September 1907.)
