Signature appears on a pay voucher dated December 7, 1863 for service November 1, to November 30, 1863 Appears on a Register of the Inspector of Hospitals Office, Richmond, Va., as Assistant Medical Officer of the 43d Regiment Georgia Infantry, April 21, 1864 to August 22, 1864. Surrendered at Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865, a Surgeon, 40th Battn. Ga. Infantry.

Brown, Aaron P.- Appointed Assistant Surgeon of the 2d Regiment Ga. Inf. May 23, 1861. Resigned November 21, 1861. Appointed A. Q. M. of the 43d Regiment Ga. Inf. March 20, 1862. Dropped on account of non-execution of his bond October 25, 1862.

Newman, Henry A.- A. Q. M. April 30, 1863 (to rank from February 6, 1863 ) Recommended for Brigade Quartermaster of Stovall's Brigade January 22, 1865. Surrendered as Captain  A. Q. M., Hill's Division, at Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865.

Allen, William N.- Quartermaster Sergeant July 1, 1862. Wounded in right arm, necessitating amputation, at Vicks burg, Miss. July 3, 1863 Retired without duty January 30, 1865. Present at the Post at Columbus, Ga. February 28, 1865.

Sitton, M. P.- Ordnance Sergeant May 12, 1862. Appears on report of the Post at Atlanta, Ga., dated March 17, 1863 which shows he was detailed by Colonel S. Harris and shown also as "sick, not on duty." No later record.

Wills, John - Surgeon March 20, 1862. Appears last on rolls from March 10, to October 31, 1862.

Van Dyke, Merinus Henry - Surgeon. Signed contract to per- form duties of Medical Officer of this regiment March 18, 1863 Paid for six months and twelve days service October 1, 1863. No later record.

Gallaway, N. L.- Enlisted as a private in Co. H, 42d Regiment Ga. Inf. February 23, 1863 Appointed Assistant Surgeon, C. S. A., May 26, 1863 Appointed Surgeon and assigned to 43d Regiment Ga. Inf. February 8, 1864. Surrendered at Greensboro, N. C. April 26, 1865. (Died at Monroe, Ga. September 1, 1907.)
