This much appreciated message from  G.B.S.H.H.A. member and Georgia Brigade descendent Harris Griggs pretty much  "says it all" for those 21 members and interested persons that attended and  retraced the sites and steps of our Confederate Georgia Brigade at Morristown,  Knoxville, Cumberland Gap and Big Creek Gap, Tennessee.

The highly informative historic  presentations by our attending G.B.S.H.H.A. Regiment Historians, tours by local  Tennessee historians and S.C.V. Camp Commanders David Honeycutt and Mike Beck  were truly a " once in a lifetime chance" to again retrace and walk where and  with our Confederate officers and men of the Georgia Brigade Ga. 40th, 41st,  42nd, 43rd and 52nd Infantry Regiments ...

Looking forward to seeing YOU ALL  next Labor Day weekend 2004 at the Third Annual G.B.S.H.H.A. Congress; i.e.  being year three in "retracing the steps" of our Confederate Georgia Brigade  Regiments at Vickburg, Mississippi...
